Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) is the only national organization that represents physician assistants (PAs) in orthopaedics and in all orthopaedic employment settings. Its membership also includes physician assistant students and supporters of the profession. It is an official specialty organization of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and provides an official liaison to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
