to our practice with major responsibilities including:
Work-up patients for clinic and hospital consults, assisting
with preparation of patients for surgery and round on hospital
patients preparing paperwork for doctors and becoming the
liaison between the doctors and hospital staff, coordination
of diagnostic studies, consultations, and procedures, act
as first assist for OR procedures, history taking, orthopedic
physical exams, splinting and casting, injections, and aspirations,
and associated record keeping. Our clinic will provide levels
of access to experience in clinical and OR related patient
care combined.
Qualifications include:
Orthopedic fellowship training or orthopedic experience is
desired but training can be considered for a strong and dedicated
applicant. A strong desire to be in orthopedics is a must.
The ability to be a self starter and highly motivated individual
along with the ability to work independently is important
but the physician supervision and backup is always available.
The job is a full time position with minimal to no on call
unless desired by the applicant.
