MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!

Make plans now to join your colleagues at the first annual subspecialty conference hosted by PAOS.  In order to meet demand for subspecialty education for its members, PAOS is launching a new series of meetings aimed at PAs practicing within a certain area of orthopedics.  These meetings will be smaller in size than the Annual PAOS Conference and foster interactive discussion among leading experts in the field as well as colleagues from across the country.

Course Highlights:

  • MRI Interpretation of the Hip & Knee
  • Hip Disorders & Role of Arthroscopy
  • My “Hip” Hurts: Getting the Diagnosis Right
  • Complex Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty: Dysplasia, Post-Traumatic, Fractures
  • Revision Hip Arthroplasty: Pearls & Pitfalls
  • Workup of the Painful Total Knee
  • Multimodal Pain Management of the Total Joint Patient
  • Outpatient Total Joints: Why We Should/Shouldn’t Do Them
  • Prosthetic Joint Infection: Evaluation & Current Management
  • DVT Prophylaxis: What Should We Be Doing?
  • Bundled Care and What It Means for the PA
  • Update on the Meniscus: Repair, Replace, Resect?

Seats are limited so mark your calendars now to join us April 28-May 1, 2016 in the heart of Charlotte for the only course designed by PAs for PAs in orthopedics.  Look for details in the next several weeks.  I look forward to seeing you in The Queen City!
