The Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship

Learn

The Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship is far more than a fund to support future orthopaedic PAs. This award recognizes, remembers, and honors the late wife of PAOS founding president, Joe Lindahl. After a courageous battle with a brain tumor in 1997, The Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship was established in 1998 and has continued to impact countless lives since. Susan and Joe worked, gave, and passionately scarified to establish and sustain PAOS throughout its beginnings, and this award is given to outstanding PA students who embody the same values as Susan and Joe.

In addition to paying tribute to a remarkable woman, The Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship attracts and cultivates young PA students to the orthopaedics field. Beginning as one $500 scholarship, this award has grown over the past 15 years and, funds permitting, will continue to recognize and present two deserving second year PA students with $5,000 scholarships at the PAOS Annual Conference.

We appreciate your generous tax-deductible donations to The Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization.
