Experts will teach you the story, geographic origins, and distillation process of tequila from raw plant to bottle. Together we’ll explore the three ages of tequila and conduct a tasting of blanco(“white”), reposado (“rested”), and añejo(“aged”) varieties with an eye for detail and a nose for subtle differences. A guided tasting of representative tequilas with detailed instruction on color, taste, aroma, and finish, augmented by an informative slideshow presentation and handout materials.

After you learn the ins and outs of tequila, you will learn how to make a proper margarita with an all-encompassing approach to sharing tequila. With the aid of the hosting bar staff, we will walk the audience through the process of making an excellent margarita from start to finish.
